My first fotoshoot!

Some of you may know that a couple weeks ago, when I was still in Bali, I had my first fotoshoot ever.

The fotoshoot I did, was for the spa/ resortwear brand called Goldust Bali. It is located in Canggu, which is the place to be for the beach, healthy hotspots and more. When I arrived at the location of the shoot, I was amazed by how beautiful it was. It was a huge villa in the centre of Canggu, originally from the creator of Goldust Bali. The villa had this amazing half outside kitchen and living room. It made you feel like if you were outside in the nature all of the time. Furthermore, It had palmtrees, bamboo, a swimming pool and even an outside bathroom (with bubblebath!!).

Of course, when I arrived at the villa, I was super nervous, since I had never done a shoot before in my life. I did not know what to expect. There were a couple of clothing racks with lots of dresses. Luckily, the team was super chill and comforting. The shoot was so much fun, and I wish I could do it again.

But for what did I shoot, spa, clothing? Well basically, Goldust Bali offers both. Currently, you can still find them in their ‘old’ building. However, sooner or later you will find them at the exact villa where I did the shoot. They will rebuild the villa into a Spa (how amazing right?!). Goldust Bali offers a wide range of spa treatments, from massages, to facials to beauty treatments. They even offer a 24k gold facial (IKR!).

Anyway, beside the spa, the company also sells beautiful resort wear. The clothing is super light, perfectly created and really beautiful. Even though some of the dresses are maxi dresses, you can still wear them in the Bali heat of 30+ degrees.

I am really looking forward to doing this again!

The Gilis

Life goes on in paradise 2.0, the Gili islands of Lombok.

On Friday morning we went suuuper early to the Gili islands. Since the drive to Padang Bai was about 1,5 hours and the boat trip as well, we arrived at 11 only. When arriving, I saw the brightest sea ever. It was so clear blue. I fell in love.

After getting of the boat, we had to find ourselves a cab. Or well, a horse. There were no cars or any other electronic vehicles on the island. So we went by horse to our hotel. We changed clothing, and went to the beautiful beach to chill.

On the second day of the Gilis we were planning to cycle, so that’s what we did. We cycled throughout the island and found some amazing spots. We had lunch and chilled at the beach.

Because all of the Gili islands have turtle points, we became super excited to see some turtles. This is why we went on a snorkling trip to all of the islands to spot turtles. The turtles were amazing and at a moment you could really swim with them for a couple of meters. It was incredible.

Basically all we did on the Gili islands was just chilling and checking out the island. It had such a great vibe and it truly was one of the most beautiful islands I have seen in my life.

Details: the dresses I am wearing are both from Goldust Bali, pink bikini is from Elsa and Rose and the pink bikini top with yellow bottom is from Triangl. The sport wear is from Stronger and the shorts are from Levis.
