Let’s talk fashion again! I have no idea if you like to read about the latest trends, please let me know in the comments (:
Before I continue, I would like to notify that this is a sponsored post by My Jewellery, but all statements and opinions are not influenced by them.
Since it is summer already, I know the majority of women prefer to wear dresses and skirts than shorts. Understandable, I am guilty too! Therefore, let’s talk about these two items today.
There are so many different skirts, maxi, midi, mini, you name it. Personally, I prefer mini skirts, because I like to show my legs. However, a midi skirt can give your outfit the ultimate vintage look. Last year, denim skirts became a big thing (read BIG). They are perfect to combine with any type of tops, and they are gorgeous. Currently, I am seeing also a lot of wrap clothing, in skirts, dresses and tops, and I love it. Therefore, wrap skirts can’t be missed out on. I really really like wrap skirts, since it is so feminine and elegant.
Moving on to the dresses, off-shoulder is already a favourite for a couple of years, and we just can’t get enough of it! Either with or without small straps on your shoulders, they are absolutely stunning. As for the skirts, there are a lot of wrap dresses and of course I love them. Moreover, sometimes, a dress might look like it is a wrap dress (as in the one I am wearing in the pictures), but it is actually not. In fact, there is a little wrap, but only below the waist, which is perfect because sometimes the wrap does not stay accordingly during the day.
And now, finally, prints. Prints are everywhere. I really love prints, as long as it is not too busy. Lately, I have noticed that Leopard prints are everywhere, which is pretty cute. In my opinion, you can combine it perfectly with anything you want, but just keep in mind that it should not be too many prints. Moreover, flower prints are actually timeless. Sometimes I like them, sometimes I find them too busy for me. I do like flower prints in for example my dress, bigger flowers, but still lots of space between them to combine it perfectly. Another print which is absolutely timeless is the polka dot print. You see them everywhere, in tops, skirts, jeans, dresses. Literally everywhere. They have been going around for decades, and are still super elegant.
